Led astray by this present world.
I've deserted everything I know, I've deserted everyone I love.
There's nothing left for me to give.
I'm through listening to people who never cared; to those who lie through their teeth.
I've lost my faith in those whose words fail to line up with their actions.
So I wander this unknown path.
I'm not in love with the world, I just hate the men who cause division.
Those who preach the way of love while consumed by greed; blind to their own wickedness.
If falling in line behind them means sacrificing my conviction then I'll side with the fucking world.
Why should I continue to heed force fed wisdom?
Why should I follow men more concerned with themselves?
"We seek the unsaved, we seek the lost."
Countless times their words fell short.
When I went missing I wasn't sought after, I was cast aside; thrown to the fucking wind.
Fuck those who call themselves the church and fail to stand upon the words they preach.
